The DigiACT project focuses on enhancing digital citizenship among European youth by equipping youth workers with essential knowledge, skills, and tools. As digital literacy becomes increasingly vital in all areas of life, the project addresses the gaps in digital skills, particularly among young people, as identified by recent Eurostat data.
The project centers on four key areas:
Through non-formal education methods, DigiACT promotes safe, conscious, and active digital participation, ensuring that youth workers can effectively guide young people in navigating the digital world while safeguarding their well-being and rights.
###Objectives Equip youth workers with a thorough understanding of digital citizenship, skills, and competencies. Raise awareness of human rights protection in the digital age. Provide tools and methods to promote active digital citizenship. Foster international collaboration by sharing best practices among youth workers from six countries. The training will take place in Lithuania, fostering cross-country dialogue and enhancing the quality of youth work across Europe.
